![]() Please be aware that when travelling to Vietnam on a UK or US passport (I had one, my husband had the other), you have to get an invitation letter first. ![]() Whilst it was good & very clean, I would not put it in the 5 star catergory. Having stayed at many other Marriotts, I would say that this would be classed as a 4 star. We did the OX foodie tour & the Saigon cooking class (see separate reviews). This hotel is well positioned for the local attractions, we walked to Notre Dame cathedral, War museum, Ben Than Market etc. We did not eat at the hotel restaurants as we decided to eat out. We had club lounge access (as such we had free wifi), which provided buffet style breakfast, afternoon tea & cake along with hors d'oeuvre & free alcohol (local beer, wine & select spirits). ![]() On arrival we got a cab (Vinasun) which worked out to be around $10. We asked how much a transfer would be from the airport & were told that it would be around $50. Our family of 3 stayed here for 3 nights 20/22 August.
